Risk Mitigation and Upside Potential
- Geological & Operational Risks: Managed via 3D seismic de-risking; Shallow waters lower costs but require EIA for storms. POS similar to Orinduik (16-22%).
- Geopolitical & Compliance: Stable environment; Border dispute assessments available. Currency risks (GYD vs. USD) hedged; FCPA/ESG compliance ensured.
- Upside Validation: Guyana’s boom (Stabroek: 11B+ barrels) suggests multibillion BOE potential. Orinduik CPR analogue confirms proven systems.
Work Program
Focus on low-risk activities in Phase 1 (first 3 years). Partner with efficient 3D seismic /or if possible reprocessing of previous work we are doing and considering EM as an alternative to and removing further risk
Key activities:
- 3D Seismic: Acquire/process min. 2,000 sq km/block (~4,000 sq km total, including adjacent areas). Duration: 12-18 months
EM prior (fokus)
- G&G Studies: Block evaluation, hydrocarbon maturation (2D/3D data). Duration: 6-8 months.
- Local Content: Employment, societal development, supply chain, environmental sustainability. Ongoing.
- Other: Data handling, admin, technical support, training/rental fees.
